Fighters What good is the mind without the heart? What is emotion without reason? The tug-of-war between science and spirituality courts these questions like quarreling lovers. Vengeful and passionate, afflicted by the very love that they cherish, they are blind to their own assumptions. Arrogance allows them to claim knowledge of secrets unseen, and ignorance makes them smile in such manufactured illumination. They cannot see that they are two sides of the same coin. Classically unaware and romantically deaf, forever shall they remain divided and yet perpetually bonded. They waste away chasing sovereignty, gaining distance and yet no ground. The power they seek is merely their own discontentment with the power they have. And yet, no control shall mend the lovers' feud.
